What Is Animal Chiropractic?

Animal chiropractic is a complementary therapy that focuses on the relationship between the spine and the nervous system. By gently adjusting the spine and joints, chiropractic care can:

  • Relieve pain and stiffness
  • Improve mobility and flexibility
  • Support nervous system function
  • Encourage faster recovery from injury or surgery
  • Enhance overall wellness

All adjustments are performed by certified professionals trained in the unique anatomy and movement of animals, ensuring your pet receives safe and effective care.

Chiropractic treatments may benefit pets experiencing:

  • Back, neck, or joint pain
  • Stiffness, limping, or difficulty standing
  • Arthritis or age-related mobility issues
  • Recovery after orthopedic surgery
  • Sports or agility injuries
  • Decreased performance in working or athletic animals

Many pets also benefit from chiropractic care as a preventative measure to maintain spinal health and support long-term wellness.

At Northern Hope Veterinary Care, we combine Western veterinary medicine with integrative therapies like chiropractic care, acupuncture, and herbal medicine. This whole-body approach helps us address both the symptoms and root causes of your pet’s discomfort, giving your pet the best chance for lasting health and vitality.
